Compound A and Compound B are both hygroscopic. Compound B is also deliquescent. Which would you choose to protect your valuables from water/humidity damage?

You certainly don't choose B since a deliquescent material would produce a puddle of water and dissolved salt. So that leaves A as the preferred choice.
