Based on the equation :Na2O (s) +H2O(l) ---> 2NaOH(l)
a.) If you had 2 mol of H2O, how many grams of NaOH would you make?
b.) If you had 4mol of H2O, how many grams of NaOH would you make?
c.) If you had 2mol of Na2O, how many grams of NaOH would you make?
d.) If you had 2mol of Na2O, how many molecules of NaOH would you make?
e.) If you had 4mol of Na2O, how many molecules of NaOH would you make?
please help me
thank you in advance!

Ok, first just find the molar mass or every substance in the equation:
Na2O=62g/mol H2)=18g/mol NaOH=40g/mol
you have to use stoichiometry for these types of problems, if you aren't sure what that means, i can explain it, but it would take a while. For now, here's the work.
a.) 2molH2O x 2molNaOH/1molH2O x 40gNaOH/1molNaOH = 160g NaOH
b.) 4molH2O x 2molNaOH/1molH2O x 40gNaOH/1molNaOH = 320g NaOH
c.) 2molNa2O x 2molNaOH/1molNa2O x 40gNaOH/1molNaOH = 160gNaOH
d.) 2molNa2O x 2molNaOH/1molNa2O x 6.02x10^23atoms NaOH/1molNaOH = 2.4 x 10^24 molecules NaOH
e.) 4molNa2O x 2molNaOH/1molNa2O x 6.02x10^23atoms NaOH/1molNaOH = 4.8 x 10^24 molcules NaOH
well, those are the answers, hopefully you have learned around stoichiometry, and/or dimensional analysis
