Help with time zones

Of course, you will have to do the subtraction.......
I met a person online and we're now friends. He lives in Sweden, & me, Florida. I would like to know the time differences, because about an hour ago, he said it was almost 1am. I'm not good with simple math as you can see. (But I do really well & simple Algebra, & Geometry.) Sorry, that's probably more information than you cared to know.

Well I live in the uk and it's 12:49 here so it'll be 1:49 in Sweden as they are 1 hour ahead of us that means he's 6 hours ahead of you unless you are west of talahase where he'd be 7 hours

It gets a bit complicated because the Florida panhandle is in the central time zone, and European countries do not usually change to daylight savings time at the same time as US states. I live in California, and the time difference to Sweden is 8 to 9 hours, depending on the "summer" time change. So Central time (Florida panhandle) would be 6 to 7 hours different from Sweden, and Coastal Florida time 5 to 6 hours different.

Google for "tine zone map" and you will have the answer. Of course, you will have to do the subtraction.
