(cont) Separate samples of a solution of an unknown salt are treated with dilute solutions of HBr, H2(SO4) and NaOH. A precipitate forms only with H2SO4. WHich of the following cations could the solution contain: K+;Pb 2+; Ba 2+?

K+ would not form a precipitate with H2SO4, so it's out.
Pb 2+ would have formed a precipitate with HBr, so it's out.
That leaves Ba 2+ as the unknown.
