What atomic orbit or orbitals are available for bonding for each of the following atoms?
a)H
b)F
c)S
d)Br
Any help would be greatly appreciated, as well as an explanation of how you got your answer! Thanks :)

Well, hello again Kayla. How are you today? Oh, atomic orbital troubles today, huh? Well I think we can help on this one. I believe you are looking for the s, p, d, f orbits, correct? Whatever.
#1) H, Of course it has and can have only the one electron for bonding and it is: 1s1.
#2) F, has the configuration: 2s2, p5 and has 1 electron for bonding at the 2p6 level.
#3) S, has the configuration: 3s2, p4 and has 2 electrons for bonding at the p5 and p6 level.
#4) Br, with the configuration: 3d10, 4s2, p5 and has 1 available for bonding at the ___ level. Come on Kayla, I'm not doing all the work here. You are smart, what level is it?
This information is easily found, printed out even, on a GOOD quality Periodic Table. The electron configuration is listed directly above the element's name. I have also found this info by following the arraignment of the Periods and Groups and the explanation of the Periodic Table given in most college-level textbooks. By the way, Kayla, you are right about #4, it is the p6 level.
