Is this a good reason to quit Yahoo in disgust (chem board)

I answered a question "is it possible to see atoms with a microscope".

I answered "yes in a scanning tunnel electron microscope" and provided links to IBM San Jose "quantum corral" pix which are quite cool BTW

someone reported that answer as abusive - and my answer has been removed.
I have appealed the decision. I do not see the abuse - I used no foul language, I answered the question, I provided a link. But yahoo's philosophy is guilty until proven innocent.



Personally - I have had it with Yahoo and the junvenile activities here.
I get about 10 requests a day from people to answer their questions - I do the best I can.

So, to be in the question and answer format:
IS THE ABOVE A GOOD REASON TO JUST SAY GOOD BYE????????????????????????/

I have a degree from Cal Berkeley with Honors in chemistry and have enjoyed helping people but this is the last straw.

I think I've gotten four violation emails in just over 6700 answers. The first one bothered me and I complained about it. No response. For the other three, I just deleted the email and moved on. It's not as if the deduction of points does anything to me. Suspend my account? Well, the bank still cashes my retirement check and my wife still loves me, so I think I can withstand an account suspension.

There are always going to be idiots, trolls and whatnot. However, your degree from Cal still exists and the people who respect you still do so. Who cares who runs Yahoo Answers? I certainly don't.

I hope you stay. Your answers are good ones and you've helped LOTS of people. You'll never meet them, but they exist and they are appreciative. Over the years, I've had many students come back and, believe me, they are appreciative. Some have even apologized for being an idiot way back in the day. perhaps some of the trolls, when they move out of their teens and into real adulthood, will look back on how they acted with acute embarrassment.
