For myself, I plan to stick around. There are some very, very cool questions that get asked and I want to capture them for my web site. I can put up with the "where do I buy cyanide?" questions and the "thirteen-year-old girl" that posts the spontaneous human combustion questions (CM: I report those too!).

Sounds like our 24-7 news cycle, too, which disregards truth whenever it can get away with it
(most of the time) because truth is so boring, and boring doesn't pull in ratings.
I have looked at getting out of Yahoo Answers, too...but the only sure way is to delete your
whole profile and start over.
The trolls who seem to control this board are driving out the good and keeping the trivial and the wrong.

i had an account banned and i dont even know why, all i did was answer a few questions. I said nothing wrong, nothing mean, sexual, political, religious. just gave some opinions on peoples problems they wanted help with. Its pretty ridiculous.

I had the exact same thing happen to me several times. At least three. And each time I appealed it and told them to read the question and my answer to it and find the abuse. I never got an answer either. I especially hate it when I take sometimes 30 minutes or more to find an answer and the person doesn't even rate a best answer let alone complain about some abuse that isn't.
I've learned to take it in stride. Some of these people are psychologically damaged and in their paranoid world, take offense at something that 99.5% of the world would never notice.
