Hi, I need some help naming this compound. Thank you so much!!

I can certainly see your confusion....
CHF-CH3
|
CH-CH2-CH2-CH3
|
CH2-CH2
can be redrawn as..
.. ... .F
.. ... .|
CH3-CH-CH-CH2-CH2-CH3... .. 3-ethyl-2-fluoro-hexane
.. ... .. ...|
.. .. .. . . CH2-CH3
or...
CH3-CH2-CH-CH2-CH2-CH3... .. 3-(1-fluoroethyl)-hexane
.. ... .. .....|
.. .. .. . . .CH-CH3
.. ... ... .. .|
.. .. ... .. ..F
*********
so which do you use? typically you want to minimize branching and you want to minimize numbers... the 3-(1-fluoroethyl)-hexane has more branching but lower numbers. so which takes priority?
well.. If I remember correctly.. and it's been awhile.. so you need to ask your instructor to verify this.. the branching takes priority.. meaning you want to minimize the branching first...so this would be called
3-ethyl-2-fluoro-hexane
and you would type in this for your answer
CHBTP
and that seems to fit with the possibilities since you don't have ( ) available to choose from.

does that help?
as to the other answers.. clearly pentane is incorrect.. and substituted groups are in alphabetical order. E in ethyl comes before F in fluoro

The parent compound is the chain with the most carbon atoms. This is 6, so it would be hexane. The carbon atoms are numbered 1 to 6. The name would be 2-fluoro, 3-ethyl hexane.

pentene
because the double bond is at the first carbon, you can omit saying 1-pentene...it is a 5 carbon structure, hence, pent- and it has a double bond, hence the -ene ending
