I'm pretty sure it's organic because it contains a carbon and a hydrogen but I'm not sure! Help!

yes it is organic compound if you have to classify it as one or the other as it bonds covalently. Although there are many organic compounds that behave intermediate between these bonding approaches, so it is not a cut a dry question
