The numbers 1 - 9 are written on cards and placed in a bag. Find the probability of choosing a multiple of 3 or an even number.
How do I find it?

In this case the multiples of 3 are 3,6 and 9
Probability of choosing a multiple of 3 = Favorable cases / total number of cases.
Here There are 3 cases in favor that is 3,6 and 9 and total possibilities are 9.
so P(a)= 3/9 = 1/3
Where "a" is the event.

Well its somewhat simple if you think about it. You find all the multiples of 3: 3 , 6, 9. then find the evens : 2 , 4, , 6, 8 then you count them up 7 so then you have to turn that into a % and 7 in % form is7%, to find the percent another way is to make it into a fraction ( 7/1) then divide 1 by 7 take that decimal and convert it into a %. all u have to do for that is take the decimal and make it so theres no decimal unless its like .125 then it would be 12.5% but u move the decimal 2 places to the right and there u go.
