So I plan on majoring in Biology and then moving onto med-school. I have been looking through credit hour requirements and I'm confused. To graduate at the private college I'm planning on attending the biology major requires 60 credits to get my major. The med-school I'm planning on applying to requires 90 credit hours for admittance.... So does that mean I have to take 30 credit hours of things not required for my major to get in??

Yes, dear. When in college, the entirety of your credits do not come from your major classes, but from electives and college required classes as well.
