Me and my bf are talking about having children but im afraid that i might have twins. My father is a twin and i was just wondering does anyone know if its true that its a greater chance?

Fraternal twins (two separate eggs fertilized by two different sperm cells) can tend to run in families on the mother's side, since human females only release on egg per cycle normally. Ovulating two eggs can happen spontaneously, but there is evidence that this can be genetically influenced. Your father being a twin does not factor into this.
Identical twins (one fertilized egg splitting early in division to produce two people with the same allele pairs) is a statistical anomaly and has nothing to do with genetics.
In short, you chances of having twins are no higher than any other woman's chances.
