What happens to the sacromere length and force generated during muscle relaxation

[From: ] [author: ] [Date: 11-11-13] [Hit: ]
the sarcomeres are decreasing in length and the force generated increases.Relaxation would be the opposite.......
Which of the following describes the relaxation phase?

(A)The sarcomeres are decreasing in length, and the force generated increases.
(B)The sarcomeres are increasing in length, and the force generated decreases.
(C)The sarcomeres are decreasing in length, and the force generated decreases.
(D)The sarcomeres are increasing in length, and the force generated increases.

I originally chose (B) but i don't know if that is the correct answer i had selected? Any thoughts and why? It would be greatly appreciated :)

(B)The sarcomeres are increasing in length, and the force generated decreases.

During contraction, the sarcomeres are decreasing in length and the force generated increases. Relaxation would be the opposite.
