Ill accept long-winded and detailed answers, but Im willing to give full points for a statement like the one Ive given for the first difference. Concise and to the point.Thank you.-Osmosis is a spontaneous net movement of water across a semi-permeable membrane from a low concentration to a higher concentration, while facilitated diffusion is a spontaneous net movement of particles.......
Give two differences between facilitated diffusion and osmosis

1) Facilitated diffusion requires carrier proteins, whereas osmosis does not.
2)

I'm unsure what to give for the second difference; I know about the processes themselves but it is a less obvious answer and so guidance would be helpful. I'll accept long-winded and detailed answers, but I'm willing to give full points for a statement like the one I've given for the first difference. Concise and to the point.

Thank you.
