If the ISS is fake why can we observe it from earth ?

Nikki say: i have been looking all this week for the international space station to pass-over. it is too overcast this week next to the ocean, and most of the passes are early morning or early afternoon.
last month , out of ten tries at observation, i was rewarded two-times with very good observation and ISS viewing. so, i am convinced that i need a clear, dark, night sky, or early dush as the sun sets or soon after, for a bright object to view. most of the light is reflection from the sun.
i use this ISS website to know the viewing times, and the direction across the sky for the space station.
