Could life be in a star?......

Could life be in a star?

-------------------------------------------------------

answers:
Adullah M say: If it were so then that life must be able to withstand the heat of that star of at least 5000 K.
-
ngc7331 say: probably not, too hot.
-
quantumclaustrophobe say: A star is so hot that atoms are ionized - their electrons are stripped from their orbits. That means the atoms can't form compounds or combine with other atoms (other than through fusion) - which means life couldn't form.
-
Second Coming say: Well, theoretically it could be possible, but in actuality, it is highly unlikely that we would even know it even if it were right in front of us.

Until we can detect such a life, lets just say "not likely".

We still have not found many of the life forms that live on our own planet.
-
MARK say: No!
-
Ronald 7 say: Not likely
Not as we know it anyway
-
Ageof say: it could be but not as we now it
-
Ralph say: i mean some stars can getpregnant i think briteny spears was pregneant woman sometime?
-
Bill-M say: No. A star is a SUN. A large Gas Giant undergoing Nuclear Fusion. Nothing could live in all that radiation.
-
Charles say: All forms of biological life we know of require liquid water. (For that reason, sterilization can be achieved by extended boiling or exposure to steam.) Stars are far too hot for water to exist in liquid form. Biochemical life could not exist in a star.
-
poornakumar b say: No. Chemistry as we know that is to be reckoned for Life on Earth, doesn't exist in a star.
-
PhotonX say: It's a device I've seen used in science fiction a time or two, but it's hard to imagine how something like that could come to exist in the first place without some sort of intervention, technological or divine.

-
CarolOklaNola say: Possibly, but we don't know. If stars are sentient, we are probably the equivalent of a paramecium or a parasite or a virus.
-
Davros say: Not any form of life that we could recognise... or likely even comprehend.
-
Lord Bacon say: No, the temperature and pressure is such that no life could exist there. On the other hand, the elements necessary for life are there and could help seed life on planets surrounding the star if they fall within the ideal zone for supporting life. It is a very narrow zone.
-
The Football God say: Yes, but not as we know it.
