Do you think we really landed on the moon, why and why not?

Finally in 1969 they landed two men who stayed only a short while, but grabbed a few rock samples. Yes, they nearly crashed into boulders and some other things went wrong, but they still made it. In the five later manned landings, astronauts stayed longer, roamed further from the landing sites and did more science. One mission , Apollo 13 was a near disaster, but by some very ingenious moves the astronauts managed to save themselves but failed to land. Who fakes a near disaster and failure?

Now aside from all that, there was hardly a nation on Earth that could not receive or at least detect radio and TV signals from the Moon and tell the exact direction from which they came. Even a few amateur radio operators did it. Technically, it was not difficult even then, but it might have cost a few hundred to set up. So do you think that all these nations, including the Soviet Union and China fell into line with a hoax?

Newdivide1701 say: Oh, they made it.

When they are inside the ship, the ship is airtight which keeps the atmosphere of the ship in and other gases out including ozone. Plus the ship was designed to handles stresses a lot greater than a difference of 1 atm, or 1 atmospheric pressure which is approximately 101.325 kPa since it's going from full atmospheric pressure to a vacuum.

We've sent ships into orbit with the same pressure difference and a pressurized cabin and they are okay.

Nyx say: And which landing would that be?

Robert say: Most educated people (myself included) do not believe we really went to the moon. We know all about the Van Allen belts and what happened when poor Laika crossed them.

quantumclaustrophobe say: I do believe it. I'd suggest studying the Apollo program - the problems they needed to overcome, the devices and vehicles created to keep 3 men alive as it traveled, and the suits they needed to stay relatively safe on the moon.
