But youre able to do both. So go for it! Good luck!-Whatever blows up your skirt.......
I love eclipses and stars and the moon and the galaxy and I have told my mom I want to be that. I like tornadoes and verything but some people think that they are really devastating. I like thunderstorms but I can't decide. Help!!

Be an astronomer. Or a Meteorologist (Weather Man). those are RAL jobs.

Storm chasers are volunteers, and don't get paid.

Most storm chasers have other, more mundane jobs, and PAY to spend their vacations chasing storms. Only the person leading the group gets paid (a little bit) by a university or television station.

BTW: People don;t THINK tornadoes are devastating. Tornadoes ARE devastating, causing millions of dollars in damage, and many deaths each year.

Storm chasing is chiefly a recreational endeavor.

Although scientific work is sometimes cited as a goal, direct participation in such work is almost always impractical except for those collaborating in an organized university or government project.

In other words, you are unlikely to get paid as a storm chaser.

I'm the same way. I can't decide either. But you're able to do both. So go for it! Good luck!
