I saw a red star in the sky at 3am

I know Im confusing. I dont know the locations as far as east & west. Was the red solid one mars or was it just pollution or what xD explain these things please :3 Sorry for the bad explanation xD..-What you saw at first was the planet Jupiter, coloured red because it was very low in the sky.......
At about 3am, I saw the moon and it was a crescent shape. Not too much below the moon, a small, red star. It didn't flicker red, it was solid red. Not too much above the moon was a bright star. I assumed that was Venus and the red was mars. But the red was initially small until about 4am. At that time, everything was higher in the sky. The small, red star now brighter and bigger than the Venus-like one. The Venus-like one was brighter too though. Then there was a star to the left of the moon that was flickering red. Together they shaped a diamond: top- venus, bottom-mars, left- moon, right- flickering star. I know I'm confusing. I don't know the locations as far as east & west. Was the red solid one mars or was it just pollution or what xD explain these things please :3 Sorry for the bad explanation xD..

What you saw at first was the planet Jupiter, coloured red because it was very low in the sky. As the Earth rotated, Jupiter and the Moon rose higher in the sky, and Venus cleared the horizon. Venus is significantly brighter than Jupiter. The flickering object was the star Aldebaran.

So your observation is correct, but your identification of the objects is wrong:
Top: Jupiter
Bottom: Venus
Left: Moon
Right: Aldebaran

It would help to know exactly where you are located, because the Moon is moving rapidly through this part of the sky.

[Edit] As seems to happen every time there is a question like this, all sorts of people who know nothing about the sky chime in with wild guesses. In your first words you said this was observed at 3 a.m.. which automatically rules out Mars (which set at midnight) and Antares (which set at 2 a.m.)

The orange red star is Aldebaran, the "eye" in Taurus the bull. The two bright "stars that have discs are Venus and Jupiter. The "disc of aldebaran shrinks as it rises higher in the sly only because of the optical illusion created by your brain when things are close to the horizon and have objects in your line of site that you intuitively understand the size of at different distances. Even constellations seem much bigger when they are close to the horizon than when they are higher in the sky.
