I would build a compact concrete bunker deep underground, and make sure that it was resistant to nuclear waste, and had a good lock to prevent zombies. Then I would stock it with canned foods and other non perishables. Be sure to include some caffeinated drinks like Red Bull, as these can keep you going for days. You want your bunker to be comfortable, so I would also include an air mattress, a chemical toilet, and even one of those portable showers campers use. You might also stock it with some classic books. This will both keep you entertained while you you are in the bunker and also preserve classics for future generations. You might also want a calendar.
Remember, there's no use in bringing a computer/ phone, as internet and phone lines will probably be down. However, if you have a teammate, a good set of walkitalkis might come in handy.
I would also get several different guns, and heavy protective clothing that would not wear out over time. You would probably want a gas mask too. If you are going to be moving about, foraging for supplies and the like, you will also want a heavy duty jeep or something like that, that can go offroad (hypothetically all the roads will be destroyed) and also protect you from whatever lies ahead. You will also need lots of medical supplies-- antibiotics, syringes, gauze--everything you might need to heal infected zombie bites (if there are zombies), gunshots, and even the common cold.
You will also want to bring basic tools, in case you want to build houses, catapults (and other weapons), bridges, or walls. You will also want to bring a hatchet and plenty of matches or lighters so you can have a fire at all time (this is essential to keeping warm and also cooking any fresh food you manage to kill/gather).
