I can't get over the "fact" of how big the universe is. How do you think it was created? That is why some of me believes in a god but who created god would be the question then. I mostly don't believe in jesus by the way so don't say he created it. I guess since no one actually knows, what do you think about the universe? Do you think it does go on forever or is there a wall?

The universe was created in the big bang. And it's always expanding. It seems hard to grasp how what's supposed to be infinate is still expanding. But it makes sense. And there might be parallel universes, who knows? I'm agnostic, though, not atheist. Though, I am 9 out of 10 sure that there is no god. Why not 100 percent sure? Well, because there's no way to know for sure.

The universe is big? Or is it. Well seeming as it is the only thing in existance and everything in it is part of it you cannot say it is big because you cannot compare it to anything (you cannot say a mountain is big or small if its the only one in existance). We are one species of trillions on one planet around one sun which is one of billions in one galaxy one of hundreds of trillions of galaxies all making up of only 10% of the actually universe. the human mind cannot comprehend how 'big' it is compared to our solar system (voyage 1 is traveling at 35,000mph and has been traveling for 34 years and has only just left the solar system.) and us humans think that all this is made just for us one species. Is dogs, cows or horses could write they would right that god made them in his own image. oh and it came into existence through the big bang driven by a few theorys such as string theory. we are just as ignorant as a ant thinking that the universe was made for him.

There are so many answers to this question when it comes to science. The most popular theory is the Big Bang theory when there was, for a moment and let me express moment, a unified force which then divided into the four fundemental forces we know: weak and strong nuclear force, electromagnetic force and gravity. There is also the increasingly popular Membrane Theory were two "membranes" or other universes collided and formed this universe only to be destroyed again when they collide again. Finally another popular theory is the mulitple univereses theory which states that there are many univereses and there movements create new ones. Also, the universe is finite in size but so massive and expanding at such an incredible rate that it seems infinite. It would not be possible to reach the edge of the universe because it would be like walking on Earth, no matter how far you go you never leave the surface or fall off or "hit a wall"
