Do black holes last forever, or is their future finite like the stars they once were

but it takes...A WHILE.......
It will take an average (Solar Mass) Black Hole hundred's of Billions of years to evaporate. Super-massive Black Holes will last up to Trillions of years, but yes, due to Hawking Radiation, they too will disappear one day. These periods of Time are called "Deep Time" because we're speaking of Billions and Trillions of years.

P.S. Realize that its thought that the Universe is only 13-14 Billion years old at this time, so most Black Holes can be considered Babies.

Yes , they do die by evaporation, and how long it takes depends on their mass. The micro black holes created in the LHC evaporate VERY quickly.

Black holes will slowly evaporate away over a long period of time due to Hawking radiation,

-
They don't exist! May you be cursed with hemorrhoids for being stoopid, you caucasin.

They do die....but it takes...A WHILE.
