Any tips for a youngster who's interested in astronomy

Nothing beats a good day reading more facts and learning more about astronomy and our fascinating universe

But is there any one out there knows how to be a professional astronomer? What should I do in year 10 and up?

As Greg said, Maths Physics Chemistry are key.

I'd also recommend getting as good a telescope as you can afford, just a few hundred £ can get you one which will give you a phenomenal look at the stars as well as the moon and other planets/bodies in our solar system.
