Most of the impact scars on the Moon are billions of years old, and if Earth had no active geology, no atmosphere, and no oceans, it would look very similar today.

Ha Ha. Well, the moon was created when in the beginning of the solar system, a planet the size of mars hit the earth in between the middle and top, and blew a GINORMOLICIOUS crater in the earth, and the earth's gravity pulled the bits together to create the moon. At first, the earth rotated so fast there was only 6 hours a day. Now, the moon slowed it down... down... until it is now 24 hours a day.

Oh no... the bible... ughh, first of all, the moon is like earths little shield taking most of the meteor hits, and the earth has been hit by a lot of stuff too, it''s just that earth has an ocean and volcanoes to cover it up.
