The Fallen star? Is not live !

A falling star or shooting star is really a micro-meteorite, entering the Earths atmosphere, and rapidly burning up.Theyre usually about the size of sand grains, and only last a second or so before theyre vaporized in our atmosphere - a result of their tremendous speed and the air friction as they enter. They arent really stars.......
When people see falling star we see it.
but as I know they are about million light years away,
so the star was bombed million earth years ago
and we are seeing it after million years later because of light so slow
and we are so far Am I right

Well...

A 'falling star' or 'shooting star' is really a micro-meteorite, entering the Earth's atmosphere, and rapidly burning up. They're usually about the size of sand grains, and only last a second or so before they're vaporized in our atmosphere - a result of their tremendous speed and the air friction as they enter. They aren't really stars.

**Real** stars, when they die, can be supernovas, if they have enough mass. It's true, there probably are stars that have died, but the light of their death simply hasn't reached us yet... There are galaxies several million to several *billions* of light years away, which means we're seeing them as they *were* millions to billions of years ago... if something happened, say, a million years ago - a supernova - we won't see it here on Earth for a very long time.

Mustafo, is it?

Leave it to a non-native English-speaker of non-English descent to "not get it".

Very consistent of you. Please, dont reinforce stereotypes.

A falling star is as live as anything can be. You are seeing the light as you receive it from space, in real time. You are not watching a recording of it, you are seeing the actual light from it, directly.

But is there a time delay? Yes, of course. Even when you talk to your buddy across the table there is still a time delay. A negligible one. It takes light (and sound) time to travel to you.

Shooting stars are not a million light years away. They are like 700 km away. They are shooting stars because they have entered the atmosphere.

Sorry - a "falling star" is not a star that has fallen to Earth.
