Well if you count forestry as agriculture, trees have a major effect on the water cycle. Clouds form over forests.
Cut them down and grow corn instead - well I hope you see what I mean.
Then you might consider the effects of ploughing, field drainage, and ditches.
What if lots of water is being put onto the land, how will that affect the water cycle?
