I was wondering why lions don't regular try to hunt cheetas or leopards and why don't leopards try to hunt cheetas. Why don't hyenas try to hunt cheetas? Rather, they usually try to hunt zebras, wildebeest, and buffalos. I thought of the possibility that cheetas are too fast as the answer, but zebra and wildebeest are a lot faster than lions as well, but lions spend forever and a day sneaking close and using teamwork to get at them. Why don't they do this with the cheetah. I also thought of the possibility that cheetah's might put up a better fight but lions also go after buffalos who put up a tremendous fight before going down. They regularly go after buffalos as well

I seem to remember seeing a documentary on these animals, and the smaller predators (cheetahs, for example) did have to worry about becoming targeted by hyenas and lions. Although hyenas and lions normally hunt the buffalo, gazelle, etc. they wouldn't turn down a chance for a cheetah.
I suspect the reason they don't hunt the cheetah, aside from it's speed, it's a solitary animal thus harder to catch, whereas herd animals range in the hundreds to thousands. Much better odds for a kill, I'd think?
just my guess.

because a animal depends on food and if they team up the lions would get all the food because lions are just naturally stronger than hyenas the hyenas would just die. You see Lions are the type of animals that dont want anyone to take any of there food as most animals are would you want to spend your hard earned money on you and some friend every single day, no of course not.

Carnivores generally don't eat each other.
They may kill each other yes; for instance if a cheetah was foolishly trying to defend its kill from a lion, but they don't actively go out hunting other larger carnivores with the intent to consume them.
