The next lower note that is produced on the string has frequency 2 193 Hz. How far away from the first fret should the next fret be?I am assuming this is a n=1 system. Dont really know where to go from here.........
The fret closest to the bridge on a guitar is d = 20.5 cm from the bridge. When the thinnest string is pressed down at this first fret, the string produces the highest frequency that can be played on that guitar, 2 327 Hz. The next lower note that is produced on the string has frequency 2 193 Hz. How far away from the first fret should the next fret be?

Tried using f=v/wavelength where wavelength=2d

λ=2L , f=v/2L , v=f*2L
2327*2*0.205= 2193*2*x
4386x= 954.07
x= 0.2175262m
21.7526-20.5= 1.25[cm] approx
