Question on Statistics..please help

Now, if our data is normal what measures of central tendency and dispersion is the most meaningful? How about if the data is skewed (that is what measure of central tendency is best and what measure of dispersions can we use for skewed data)?

If the data is normal, use the mean and standard deviation for central tendency and dispersion, respectively.

If the data is skewed, use the median and interquartile range (IQR) for central tendency and dispersion, respectively.
