36 s = time to fall from 0.total hang-time being total time feet of athlete is off the floor = 2t = 0.......

A Free-Fall problem with symmetry.

h = 1/2gt²
t = √2h/g = √0.130479 = 0.36 s = time to fall from 0.64 m height
total "hang-time" being total time feet of athlete is off the floor = 2t = 0.72 s ANS
