If you dug a tunnel throught the earth which way would you end up, normal or upside down

please answer, i wanna know :P

so your right side up as you start digging down, but as you go through the earth the gravity shifts. so you should start to rotate as you descend/ascend to the other side. pretty soon, your fighting gravity to dig up to your destination. thus, i believe you would come out right side up. char broiled n everything!

If I dug the tunnel through with a shovel I would be flat on my back. Completely exhausted.
And far from normal.

However if you had some magic tunnel boring machine and you did not rotate then you would be upside down as soon as you passed the centre of the earth.
