I'm stuck with some impulse and momentum Physics. Could you please help me :D

so then Force=1300x27/0.and that will give you an answer of F=175,Therfore Superman exerts 175,500N (newtons) to stop the van in 0.hope that helps!a = 27/0.......
A 1300kg van is moving with a speed of 27 m/s. If SUPERMAN is to stop the van in 0.2s, what average force must he exert on the van?

Please show your working clearly.

THANKYOU!!!! <3

i havn't done physics in a while but maybe this formula helps F=MV/T (Force=MassxVelocity / time)
so then Force=1300x27/0.2

and that will give you an answer of F=175,500
Therfore Superman exerts 175,500N (newtons) to stop the van in 0.2s

I'm not sure if thats right but if you have the answer of the question with you and you use this formula and u get the right answer that is how you do it

I think you will find if you use my way you will get the same answer as Stratocaster1111's answer except his way might be a bit more simple

Hope it works out for you

-
force=accelerationXmass

hope that helps! :)

Idk

-
Newton's second law

F = ma

a = 27/0.2

solve for F
