What to do if i sense a spirit presence

What started one night is now becoming a nightly. Occurrence. I am woke up to a loud bang around 3:30 am that stops as soon as I'm on my way to investigate. It happens only in the same spot (I believe the banging is an opening& closing of a closet door). My grandma stays asleep in the room however and this noise is LOUD. Our house has only been in our family since it was built. It is blessed each year and we are all church going people. Is there something I could do..a blessing or cleansing before I need to get someone involved?

I am a Paranormal Investigator from Kalamazoo, MI, also an Ordained Rev. I would first look to anything in the house that may kick on at that time a pump to the water heater, well, or even the pump for a sprinkler system. And if there is a dramatic change in home temp. to out of home temp. Many things can contribute. I would first look to logical. If you suspect somthing more. I would get a Video camera and set it up where you feel the noise to be coming from. around midnight or 1am so you wont have to fast forward through a bunch of tape. still go to bed. it seems with most poltergeist they do not like to be watched or waited on. whenever I have tried to catch one in the act it never seems to happen only select times has that ever worked. put flower or baking powder downs as well to see if anyone comes in or out or if you may have a critter. Hopefully this helps I would love to help or give more Ideas, so let me know what happens or what you have tried. I really need more indepth details and area of home description.

First try to see how the Spirit look, its can bee good spirit
second if the spirit make a weird things like electric **** (i don't really believe that going to happened)
try to use a holy water and splash it in the place that spirit is,
try to put some salat in your dors and windows
if the holy water dosent work there is a problem
