Did I experience demonic possesion

I've always felt like there was something in my house (either a spirit or demon, I'm not sure). I've never actually had contact with one, just had some spooky things happening - like noises, things falling off shelves in the other room and my dog apparently barking at nothing. And my mum has told me she feels it too, but she thinks it could be one of her late friends - but this morning I fell asleep on the couch and was woken up by a blow to the head. I didn't feel any pain just a leftover pressure that felt as though something had just hit me and a throb in my ears. I fell back asleep and was woken up again by something but I could barely open my eyes, I couldn't move and I couldn't talk (I know cause i was trying to call out for help). There was a sound in my ears that is difficult to describe. It was like a mixture of wind blowing past my ears and the sound movies play when there is rising tension. And the next part I am not sure even happened, it could just be my imagination running wild, but I THINK I might have heard something in my head, hissing words in language that I don't recognise. I remember thinking 'get out, get out!' and then all of a sudden it stopped, the hissing, the sound in my ears, and the incompetence. Suddenly I was sitting up shaking and saying 'get out'. This all happened in under 15 seconds.

Was I just having difficulty waking up properly and am being paranoid? Did something try to take over my body? If it did, did it succeed and is still inside me or did I get rid of it?

Please don't answer if you are going to preach to me or tell me I am in danger, I am aware of the dangers of demonic possession and don't need people scaring me out of my wits. I just want to know if that actually is what happened to me.
