Question about ouija boards

every time its mentioned on myths or paranormal section people always say NO DONT USE IT! and stuff like that.

im just wondering. who has really used one? and has anything really happened when you used it?

when i was younger i used them and nothing happened to me. i hardly ever gotten anything while using them too. most of the time nothing would happen except random letters. sometimes we would get answers for questions. i think out of all the times ive used one i think i only had a real interesting session twice. and nothing bad happened afterwards.

so im wondering. out of everyone that says NO. who has used them and what "bad" thing happened after?

I've used a home made ouija board, it does really seem like the glass (or whatever you are using as a planchette) is moving but really it is either some one pushing it on purpose or a result of everyone pushing it subconsciously (the ideomotor effect).
We were a bit spooked out and amazed at the time, but nothing bad happened then or after.

Not every time a ouija board is used does it cause any problems but there are times and reports from individuals when it has caused there to be a portal opened up between this world and the spirit world. It is just not safe to experiment with. When doing paranormal investigations many groups ask if anyone has experimented with a ouija board and at times it was used. That some families who experimented with a ouija board have invited in a ghost or spirit of some type and then now want it gone, this happens more often than you realize. There are many other aspects of the paranomral that do not put you in as much risk and it just is not worth all the grief and stress you can bring into your and your families life to use them. I've used ouija boards many times and gotten some verifiable information, as well as some nonsense. Nothing bad has ever come from it, except when I knocked on a stranger's door to tell her that her dad said to check the safety deposit box at such and such bank, she called me demon possessed and slammed the door in my face. She then told everyone in town I was a witch. That was a human, though, not the ghost. No ghost has ever hurt me. People, though, can be evil and cruel.
