Let's start with I know spirits exist. Now about ouija boards. I was wondering if understanding how dangerous they are and accepting the dangers of it, do those little things make using one any safer? I would assume no. A friend and I wanted to conduct our own amature 'investigation' and I'm taking the nessacary precautions to playing it safe. Any tips?

The SAFEST way to use a Ouija board is to BURN it! As you seem to be aware, a Ouija board can open the doorway to spirits, some friendly and some are deadly. HOWEVER since you seem determined to "play" with one, you must set up a "Zone of protection" around you and whoever is with you. You do this by imagining a sphere the size of a pinpoint, then expanding it to include you and whoever else is present - including any pets in the area. When you do this, Include the statement that nothing that isn't from God can enter within the sphere. If you can imagine this so well that it becomes a fact around you, it will HELP protect you from evil. Good luck and be VERY CAREFUL! If you sense anything evil, IMMEDIATELY discontinue the session and stop using the board!
By the way, the Zone of protection can also protect you in other circumstances, even when you are riding in a car - Put the zone around the car and everyone in it.

dont do it. realize how scary it becomes.
me and my friend did it at her house for hours and when we tried to say goodbye it constantly went to no so we pushed it to goodbye and left the room. we went to watch her younger sister do gymnastics bc she wanted us to watch her when suddenly my friend just dropped her phone and walked out in the most calm way with no expression on her face. i followed her out and she was standing next to the stairs staring out the window so i called for her, she turned around and looked at me and something in her eyes changed, she screamed and fell back and was in tears she was so scared because she didnt walk out there. dont do it its too scary and i swear to god i did not make thsis up.

Regardless of others' opinions, mine is, there's nothing safe about a ouija board, especially in a place reportedly haunted.
