Whats the scariest thing thats ever happened to you

The Scariest thing that has ever happened to me is being locked in my basement when the power went out (i dropped the key done a hole in my stairs). It was pretty terrifying because i had a rat problem in my house at the time so their was noises everywhere. It was scary as hell. Then to add some insult to injury i just got done watching nightmare on elms street so i was terrified to fall asleep and wait for the lights to come back on. I remember the moment the lights came on i bolted to find my key and get out of that hell hole. I haven't been back down their for about 3 years now.

haha! well my cousin shawn just moved into his new house and he was telling me about all the weird supernatural events that happened in his house. he's my big cousin so i thought he was just trying to scare me.

he has 3 kids ages 8, 5, and a baby that just turned 1. so it was the babies first birthday and there was a party over at his house like last weekend i think. since it was raining out we all had to stay inside. he was telling me stories about how "the man" would come into his daughters(8) room and stare at her at night and how his son(5) would say a lady named lydia would come and say that he's gonna go to the "place in the sky"

i thought he was just messin with me until i went into his bathroom right after that. you can hear if someone is coming and i heard nothing. when i walked in i left the door cracked (just in case i needed to run out) and then did my thing.

when i was done, i went to go open the door and it was completely shut. i thought it was weird because i didn't hear or see anyone. so i tried opening it and it was locked and there is not even a lock on the door. so i thought that was even creepier. so i started knocking on the door to try and get someone to open it from the opposite side. then the closet door in the back of the bathroom started making squeky noises. i ignored it untill i could see the door knob turn then i kicked the door down (completely breaking it off the hinges) and got the heck out of that house. everyone was outside trying to help my aunt get her car out of the mud..
