Who's the best scientist

no offense to da vinci. but he's a bit overrated. how many of you study his scientific works in school? exactly right? coz he only sketched certain inventions but really didn't invent them himself, he's just one of the many who gave ideas to the calculator, helicopter, etc... but didn't invent them. nevertheless, he's still great because he sketched a lot of work. although i don't get that anatomy model with 8 arms. also we never tackled his works in art anyway. nevertheless, he's great but it would be too much to call him the greatest? who do you guys think?

Come on. We've been studying him in grade 2 before we were using calculators or some people even rode helicopters. he's been there before we learned the theory of relativity in high school. to quote from my science teacher, he is the smartest man ever. gravity seriously? isaac newton is way ahead of everyone else.

Da Vinci is not really overrated. he was a genius they say he was 500 years ahead of his time. that was the problem he was too far ahead of his time. he did not only sketch things. he invented the 1st robot. not many people know this but he made the 1st robot. for the King of France Da Vinci built a metal lion that was able to move this thing scarred and amazed everyone who saw it.
he was very limited by his own education though.
he was a genius but the schools did really teach him what he needed to know.
if he learned more about physics without a doubt he would have been able to invent a plane and helicopter.
he was also very limited by the church.
he made a model for a atom once but like many other projects was condemned by the church leaving Da Vinci to leave the work behind and not develop them.
in fact this guy took allot of risks in his life like studien the human body from the dead

Don't dis Da Vinci, he's my favorite. I can't really say who the best scientist is. If I had to say people that progressed science the most, it would be Newton, Galileo, Darwin, Robert Hooke, and Einstein.
