Will my doctor call me in exactly one week ?????

im 16 yeard old
I went to clinic to get my blood tested for stds and hiv.
my doctor told me she would call if theres something wrong. but if she doesn't call it means its all good.

I went last Wednesday and its been five days now and im really nervous.

if she said she would call in one week, that would mean she would call this exact Wednesday right???

im just really nervous and scared. I cant even concentrate on my exam study right now

what should I do guys???

I think you are fine. If it was bad news, you most likely would have been notified. Lab testing doesn't take a full week. For HIV, an initial positive test would get a confirmation test, but it still doesn't take a week. And they wouldn't tell you that result over the phone - they would ask you to return to the clinic to discuss your results in person. Saying "in a week" just means that it will take a few days, they won't wait a an exact week to call.

But, in order to stop worrying about it - call the clinic and leave a message for the doctor(s). She will review your chart and call you back, setting your mind at ease.
