It could at least damage the kidneys. It is events like this that, If they are seen by a doctor, that such questions are answered, it is not textbook material until enough cases are reported.

Your friend needs medical help. There are other non-Rx drugs that can be fatal an much lower doses, and your friend needs not only medical help but counseling to help prevent further poisoning to his/her body.

It would be a very, VERY painful death, but I think it would shut down your liver =/
