1) Triangle STU is an isosceles triangle meaning the lengths US and UT are the same, that means the angles S and T will both be 70. When know all the angles of a triangle add up to 180 so 70+70+U=180 therefore U=180-70-70=40.

2) This one is process of elimination. BC is obviously the hypotenuse because it is across from the biggest angle. So the hypotenuse has to be bigger than the other sides for it to be a real triangle. The answers A,B, and D are all smaller or the same so the answer has to be C, 10.
