I don't understand anything in math

I'm in 7th grade, in algebra honors and I understand almost nothing we're doing in class because we move along from subjects way too fast. Right now I am clueless on what to do and I end up getting F's on a lot of work we do. I understand must of the concepts but when it comes to actually doing the problems I have no idea what to do so I end up just sitting there getting nothing done. My teacher thinks I'm just off task and that's why I'm doing poorly, but I'm honestly not! I have a test in 2 days, can anyone help me figure out what to do so I can at least pass the test?? Thank you!

If your school offers stay ing after for extra help do that. I had and have the same problem and literally after like 5 minutes I completely understand my hw. I started staying after alot in 8th grade and i helped alot. btw im in trig honors so i know what its like.

You should definitely check out Khanacademy. He has very good explanations for almost all topics, and there are even practice problem modules. I'd guarantee he can help you understand the concepts you struggle with, but you may need to backtrack a bit to where you started having problems because algebra concepts tend to build up to more complicated things.

Go back to the FIRST topic you don't understand in your textbook and start reading from there. The only way you're giong to figure it out is to either ask the teacher for help after class (what I'd recommend) or study harder. School isn't easy.

i want to say dat dont loose ur confidence in any condition...u prepare for ur tests as u can....first u touch those chapters on whom u command....and practise it...and make sure that u wll do any ques frm those chapters which have u practised...and then u touched the others chapters.....and one thing practise makes a man perfect..so always practise ur sums n chapters.....

jst try to concentrate instead stalking girls :p....jokes apart focus...surely u're going to understand lot of things betters !! :)

Study, participate, ask questions, do work that isnt assigned, ask for more work then the rest of the students get...
