How come if i divide 50,000 by 52 weeks

50k / 52= 961
But
50k / 12 months then divide by 4 weeks = 1014

Why is it different? .

Because 12x4=48, not 52. There is not exactly 4 weeks to each month. If you want an exact amount for a year, try dividing by 365(days).

Every month does not have 4 weeks.

Remember this nice poem: (which I learnt when I was 8 years old)

30 days has September, April, June and November
All the rest has 31 except February.

12*4 = 48
52/12 = 4 + 1/3

Because there are 4.33 weeks in each month
