I have this stupid math problem for homework above. Well it seems like I'm more of the stupid one. I know this is probably really easy but I'm not sure about the answer! Plz help fast!?!

X+36+x=100
X is hat
2x+36= 100
100-36=64
64\2=32
The hat was 32$ and the coat was 68$
