Maths AS help please!

Please express 16 x 2^c and 2^x/8 as powers of 2.

16 x 2^c = 2^4 × 2^c = 2^(4+c).
2^x/8 = 2^x / 2^3 = 2^(x−3).

Since 16 = 2^4, 16 x 2^c = 2^4 x 2^c = 2^(4 + c)

Also, 8 = 2^3, so 2^x / 8 = 2^x / 2^3 = 2^(x - 3)
