find the values of x which will answer to both line and curve you have. or the interval.......
1. graph g(x)= X+1, if X<-1
1-X^2, if X>=-1

2. determine whether the graph of x^2-XY=4 has symmetry in: (i) the x-axis, (ii) the y-axis, (iii) the line y=x, and (iv) the origin.

please guide me specifically how you got the answer to each problem. Thank you!!!

-
1- graph the line y= x+1
then cross out part of the line where x≥ -1
then graph the parabola y= 1-x², then cross out the part of the parabola where x < -1

from what you have left , find the values of x which will answer to both line and curve you have. or the interval.
