6.7.8.9.BTW this is NOT homework, I need the correct answers because Im doing test corrections from my test.......
1.) 6x^2 - 9x

2.) 2x^2 - 15x - 8

3.) x^2 - 49

4.) 3x^2 + 10x - 8 = 0

5.) 4x^2 + 12 x + 9 = 0

6.) 6x^2 - 11x + 3 = 0

7.) x^2 + x - 6 = 0

8.) (x + 4) (x - 3) = 0

9.) (3x + 9) (4x - 12) = 0

BTW this is NOT homework, I need the correct answers because I'm doing test corrections from my test.

Please tell me how you solved the problems, thank you!

I solved them by factorizing them. you could also solve them by using Sridhar Acharya's formula or the quadratic formula. The first three are polynomial expression but the rest are polynomial equation that are factorized and whose roots are given below.
1. 3x(2x-3)
2. (2x+1)(x-8)
3. (x+7)(x-7)
If you equate the above equations to 0 you get the following roots:

1. x=0. 3/2
2. x= -1/2, 8
3. x=7, -7

4. (3x-2)(x+4)=0
x=2/3, -4

5. (2x+3)(2x+3)=0
x= -3/2, -3/2

6. (2x-3)(3x-1)=0
x= 3/2, 1/3

7. (x+3)(x-2)=0
x= 2, -3

8. x= -4, 3

9. 12(x + 4) (x - 3) = 0
x= 3, -4
