where p = 7.5-I assume you mean 4/(9p^2) - 25 = 0.If its the first,Take the square root of both sides; p = positive or negative 2/15.(4/9).(2^2 / 3^2).......
4/9p^2 - 25 = 0

I've been working on it for a while and I just can't get it..Thanks!

Best answerer will get 10 points!

first you add 25 to both sides to get knock out the 25 on the left and to get "p" by itself.

4/9 p^2 -25 +25 = 0+25

now multiply both sides by 9/4 to get p^2 by itself because the 9s cross out and the 4s cross out on the left

9/4(4/9 p^2) = 9/4(25)

now you have to take the square root of p^2 to get "p" by itself. Again, do the operation to both sides to make sure the equation stays equal

p = sqrt(56.25)

where p = 7.5

I assume you mean 4/(9p^2) - 25 = 0.

If it's the first, add 25 to both sides:
4/(9p^2) = 25

Multiply both sides by 9p^2:
4 = 225p^2

Divide both sides by 225:
4/225 = p^2

Take the square root of both sides; p = positive or negative 2/15.

-
4/9p^2 - 25 = 0
---------------------

(4/9).p^2 - 25 = 0

(2^2 / 3^2).p^2 - 25 = 0 ---------- (a^m).(b^m).(c^m) = (a.b.c)^m

[(2 / 3).p]^2 - 5^2 = 0 ------------- difference of squares a^2 - b^2 = (a - b).(a + b)

[(2 / 3).p - 5 ].[(2 / 3).p + 5] = 0
So,
[(2 / 3).p - 5 ] = 0 or [(2 / 3).p - 5] = 0
Hence,
p = 15 / 2 = 7.5 or p = - 15 / 2 = - 7.5
---------------------------------------…

16r^2-8r+1=0
-------------------

16r^2 - 8r + 1 = 0
(4r - 1).(4r - 1) = 0 -------------------- please verify this!
(4r - 1)^2 = 0
So, 4r - 1 = 0; Hence, r = 1 / 4
---------------------------------------…

Hope this helps!

It is the difference of squares

(A^2 - B^2) = (A + B)(A - B)

(4/9) p^2 = A^2 --> A = (2/3) p

25 = B^2 --> B = 5

( (2/3)p + 5) ( (2/3)p - 5)

-
(2/3p-5)(2/3+5)
2/3 squared = 4/9
+5p-5p=0
5 times -5 =-25

-
(2/3p-5)(2/3+5)
2/3 squared = 4/9
+5p-5p=0
5 times -5 =-25
