p.s. the answer is 1/2Sin(pi/4)=rad2/4

sin(2A) = 2 sin(A) cos(A)
sin(A) cos(A) = 1/2 sin(2A)

sin(π/8) cos(π/8)
= 1/2 sin(2 * π/8)
= 1/2 sin(π/4)
= 1/2 * √2/2
= √2/4

Note that sin(2x) = 2*sin(x)*cos(x)

From this sin(pi/8)*cos(pi/8) = 1/2*sin(pi/4) = √2/4
