.so in all you get -3/2.......
Thanks :)

-
slope=rise/run= (7-4)/(6-8) = 3/-2 = -3/2

-
SLOPE OF THE LINE PASSING THROUGH (a, b) AND (c, d) IS GIVEN BY (d -- b) / (c -- a)
SLOPE OF THE LINE PASSING THROUGH (8, 4) AND (6, 7) IS GIVEN BY (7 -- 4) / (6 -- 8) = -- 3/2 ANSWER

-
fine the rise over run, (change in y over change in x) so you do 4-7 which is -3. and 8-6 which is two... so in all you get -3/2. hope it helped

-
7-4 3
____ _____
6-8 -2

-
slope (y-y) /(x-x) = (4 - 7) /(8 - 6) = -3/2

-
(7-4)/(6-8)
-3/2=m

-
-3/2

-
m = (7 - 4)/(6 - 8) = -3/2

-
Think:

change in y's / change in x's

(7-4) / (6-8)
= 3 / -2
